Tasmanian Oak (Hard Wood)
Ideal for all furniture applications. Its light
appearance and straight grain makes it
versatile to any colour stains or natural finishes.
Victorian Ash (Hard Wood)
Tasmanian Oaks brother but a little lighter
in colour.
Pine (Soft Wood)
A popular choice for furniture with economy in mind. Pine is a versatile timber with grain and knots, and its light appearance allows it to take on any colour.
Oregon (Soft Wood)
Perfect for that recycled look. With clear lacquer it appears very pink, so light stain
is advised.
Jarrah (Hard Wood)
An extremely hard and heavy timber. Ideal for outdoor furniture. When polished clear, Jarrah
appears deep red giving a prestige old English style to your piece.
Blue Gum (Hard Wood)
Again, Blue Gum is hard and heavy, but it is not as dark as Jarrah. Blue Gum is beautiful with clear lacquer
Cedar (Soft Wood)
Western Red Cedar has a lovely range of colours within its natural state. Cedar is a very soft timber so care is needed.
The timbers described above are the most commonly used within
the furniture industry.
There are however, many more exotic timbers
available on request. All with matching veneer sheets. For more
details about the above timbers, or if you would like to discuss what
other timbers are available, please contact Richard Bullard.
